Our story
The original Mad Greek restaurant is located in Bristol, TN. It was established in 1988 by immigrant Greek Cypriots, Georgia and Achilleas Georgiou. The original Mad Greek started out serving fast food, gyros and sandwiches, to its famous one-price pizzas. It has since evolved to a full service eatery where locals go for not only Greek and Italian food, but the legendary homemade desserts!
The Mad Greek established its name after, Georgia's idea of having a Greek restaurant did not go over very well with Achilleas, hence the name.
After many requests and opportunity, Mad Greek opened its second location in Johnson City, TN in fall of 2014. A Mad Greek Kingsport location also opened its doors in late 2017.
